Ute Wassermann embodies a voice creature in constant communication with her acoustic habitat: she sings with voices of insects, frogs, toads, bisons, monkeys from Mexico, Australia, Europe and the amazon rain forest. She has composed a multichannel piece with samples, loops, fragments and layers of field recordings. Her chameleon like and virtuosic vocalisations blend with the acoustic habitat. She interacts with her animal companions or is overwhelmed by their voices.

Ute Wassermann verkörpert eine Stimmkreatur, die sich in ständiger Kommunikation mit ihrer akustischen Umgebung befindet: sie singt mit Insekten, Fröschen, Vögeln, Bisons und Affen aus dem Amazonas, Mexiko und Europa. Sie hat Field Recordings gesampelt, geloopt und überlagert und damit ein 4- Kanal- Zuspiel komponiert. Die Vokalistin wird lokal verstärkt. Ute Wassermanns chamäleonhafte Stimme wird Teil des imaginären Habitats, interagiert virtuos mit den sie umgebenden Tierstimmen oder wird von diesen überwältigt.
