A project by Hatifnatten (Sabine Vogel and Ute Wassermann) 2020
The cargo ship Heimatland lying at anchor now has been a constantly moving space in the past. Hatifnatten intend to bring the barge into a sonic flow creating an imaginary soundscape with hydrophones, mini speakers, small objects, field recordings, voice, flute and an an aquarium which is used as a sound object.

Die vor Anker liegende Heimatland transportierte einst Frachtgüter und war, anders als der Name suggeriert, ein sich ständig in Bewegung befindender Ort. Hatifnatten möchten die jetzt zum Stillstand gekommene Heimatland wieder in einen akustischen Fluss bringen, indem sie das Deck und den Laderaum mit Mini Speakern, Hydrophonen, Field Recordings, Stimme, Flöten und einem bespielbaren Aquarium in eine imaginäre Klanglandschaft verwandeln.
