Three musicians interact with an installation of three aquarium objects (planktonia aquariums) that appear like laboratories, sound objects and imaginary habitats. During the performance, the musicians themselves are transformed into hybrid sounding beings – beyond the binary of human and animal, technology and nature.

Quimera was composed for Milo Tamez and Fernando Vigueras and performed with them during a residency at the Casa de Lago in Mexico City.

Drei Musiker*innen interagieren mit einer Installation von drei Aquariums-Objekten (Plankton-Aquarien), die als Laboratorien, Klangobjekte und imaginäre Lebensräume fungieren. Dabei verwandeln sich die Musiker*innen in hybride Wesen jenseits der Binarität von Mensch und Tier, Technik und Natur.
Quimera wurde während einer Residency in Casa de Lago, Mexico City für Milo Tamez und Fernando Vigueras komponiert und aufgeführt.
